Scannell/KeHe Cold Storage Facility

Scannell’s new KeHe 270,000-square-foot industrial distribution facility in Aurora includes 60,000 square feet of cooler space. The larger facility will carry a wider array of products with a reduced carbon footprint and more efficient shipping to its vendors.

RK Mechanical performed all mechanical and plumbing on this design-build project. Mechanical systems for this cold storage facility and office space included, complete HVAC and plumbing system with rooftop units, make-up air units, exhaust fans, gas water heater and installation of bathroom fixtures. RK Mechanical kept costs down by utilizing optimized routing and cost-effective rough-in materials.
