Fort Carson Evans Army Hospital Soldier Family Care Clinic

The Soldier Family Care Center (SFCC) is a three-story addition to an existing hospital facility on the Ft. Carson Amy base. The addition houses specialties like physical therapy, occupational therapy, orthopedics, podiatry, chiropractic, social work, family medicine, pediatrics, and dental as well as some of the campus’s radiology and pharmacy.

RK Mechanical performed all plumbing, piping, hydronics, sheetmetal and medical gas piping for this addition project. Mechanical systems for this facility included four (4) indoor air handling units with VAV, chilled and heating water coils, two counter-flow cooling towers, pumps and fans with high efficiency motors, VFDs and associated piping accessories.
