MONARCH K-8 AND HIGH SCHOOL

Monarch K-8’s innovation project created flexible learning spaces in each of the grade level PODs. The spaces extend/expand classrooms, creating opportunities for multiple modalities of learning. The school project aligned with two of BVSD’s six Innovation guiding principles: learning is a social process and learning is personalized and learner led.

RK Mechanical was responsible for the demolition of the existing chiller plant including, installation of two 500 ton chillers and the associated piping, demolition and replacement of all cooling coils. RK also demolished and replaced all water heaters, kitchen MAU, kitchen exhaust hood, replacement of five-KEF’s, added four VAV’s as well as demolished and replaced various GRD’s.
