DENVER WATER MODULAR DATA CENTER

This public utility rebuilt their entire campus, including their existing data center. Instead of including a new data center within one of the planned campus buildings, they decided to have a modular data center built. They designed sufficient capacity in their new central plant to supply chilled water to the modular data center, but also wanted a dedicated redundant chilled water system as well.

RK Mission Critical’s scope included full fabrication of the modular data center, which is comprised of three shippable modules. The data center will utilize chilled water from the new central plant, but will also have a dedicated air cooled chiller for redundancy.
