The Colorado State University (CSU) Center for the Arts is an on-campus, performing arts facility, boasting a 300-seat recital hall, a 317-seat thrust theater, a 550-seat concert hall, choral and instrument rehearsal room, shops and a dressing room area. Comfort and sound are critical components to this facility’s operations and were the focal point during the mechanical systems’ design and installation. RK Mechanical completed the addition of a chilled water system, including piping, a cooling tower and chiller. Additional piping was also installed for an existing hot water system that included 80 new fan coil units.
