RK Water was entrusted as a key subcontractor for this crucial project by CDM Smith, who served as the general contractor, architect and engineer. Spanning a substantial 20,000 square feet, the Yadkin Regional Water Treatment Plant represents a cornerstone of reliable water supply for the local community. Our role encompassed the fabrication and installation of essential infrastructure components, including chemical storage tanks, day tanks, transfer pumps and comprehensive dosing skids equipped with pumps. 

RK Water’s contributions were pivotal in ensuring that the infrastructure met rigorous engineering standards and regulatory requirements. Our approach included:

• Engineering and Fabrication Expertise: We utilized in-house capabilities in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to optimize the equipment’s layout and functionality to meet Yadkin’s specific needs.

• Operational Readiness: We provided comprehensive operational equipment for the chemical skids, complete with pumps and control systems, supported by detailed operation and maintenance manuals.

• On-Site Training and Support: Our team conducted on-site training sessions and provided ongoing assistance to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness of the systems.

• Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Our experienced project management team worked closely with CDM Smith’s design teams to ensure alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards, ensuring smooth execution and on-schedule delivery.
