MONARCH HOTEL AND CASINO

The Monarch Hotel and Casino project included the new construction of 23 stories, consisting of 630,792 square feet in Black Hawk, Colorado. The space accommodates gaming on the second level with a 24-hour restaurant, high limit game play and a bar. Level three includes nearly 37,000 square feet of restaurant and dining space with a buffet, steak house, and VIP bar. The hotel includes 516 guest rooms and suites, some with steam showers and jacuzzi tubs. The 23rd floor houses the pool and spa. This level includes an indoor pool as well as an indoor and outdoor hot tub, aqua lounge, brine therapy rooms, and pedicure rooms. RK Steel performed the full structural, miscellaneous and ornamental steel scope of work on the project. This includes a high slope hip and valley roof steel package installed in the middle of winter, steel stairs and rails, elevator core steel, building steel and monorail support.
