Denver Public Schools – Contemporary Learning Academy

Denver Public Schools’ Contemporary Learning Academy is a unique and flexible learning environment that allows middle school and high school students to attend classes together. The school was remodeled from an assisted living facility into a contemporary learning academy in a thriving downtown Denver community.

RK was responsible for all mechanical systems, including plumbing, piping and HVAC. We were responsible for the addition of plumbing systems and fixtures for new bathrooms, a laboratory, kitchen and an arts room. RK also modified the existing HVAC system and relocated Dx HW FCUs and installed a new makeup air unit (energy recovery wheel) and new exhaust fans.
