CenTrio Energy Wastewater Pilot at National Western Center (NWC)
CenTrio operates utility infrastructure at the National Western Center (NWC) complex requiring practical, field-driven solutions that support maintainability without disrupting ongoing system operation. RK Water supported CenTrio through targeted system modifications and equipment integration focused on improving filtration, serviceability and long-term reliability.
The scope included mechanical modification of an existing Y strainer to improve maintainability and cleaning access. RK Water tapped into the existing strainer, performed field welding and installed a blow-down port with associated carbon steel valve and nipple components. RK Water also integrated high-pressure stainless steel threaded piping and tubing, along with a custom 3,800 psi stainless steel spray nozzle and quick-connect fitting to enable effective cleaning using pressure washer access.
In addition to the field modification, RK Water supported CenTrio through pilot and permanent filtration improvements, including installation of a Hellan automatic strainer system to enhance debris management and reduce manual maintenance requirements.
Through focused field execution and precise mechanical integration, RK Water enhanced overall system maintainability while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. These solutions provided CenTrio with practical, scalable improvements to support routine cleaning, reduce maintenance burden and improve long-term system performance without requiring full equipment replacement or major system downtime.
