As part of RK’s ongoing efforts to serve leading industries in technology, RK Steel and RK Mission Critical joined forces to provide much-needed coating modifications to shipping containers transporting high-value cooling equipment, servers and electrical equipment. These servers played a significant role in the process of bitcoin mining for multiple clients, and the work performed by our team members ensured that vast digital currency was preserved despite the rigors of international shipping. With a high-volume production line developed to accommodate the multiple units-per-day ask of this project, it’s no wonder that both business units were recognized for their hard work with a number of industry awards. From complex data centers to large cloud server complexes, RK Industries recognizes the future is digital and is constantly innovating and developing new construction technologies and techniques to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Our teams had to coat and handle a high volume of shipping containers, all while dealing with high customer expectations arising from bitcoin mining’s importance in the eyes of many in the mainstream.
