May 6th, 2015 – RK is proud to announce that it passed an audit by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and successfully earned Div. 2 Certification. RK had already earned ASME Div. 1 Certification. RK is now one of only two companies in Colorado to hold both ASME Div. 1 and Div. 2 Certifications. RK passed the audit by performing a high-level welding test that was evaluated by ASME and RK auditors. During the audit, Erik, an RK employee, performed a complex welding job on thick stainless steel as the auditors hovered nearby. The nerve-wracking event paid off and RK was awarded Div. 2 Certification. RK is also an AISC Certified Fabricator and holds high-level OSHA safety accreditations.
